1958

In 1958 several local residents attended a meeting in the change rooms at Charles Riley Reserve with an Agenda to form a Lawn Bowls Club in the area. George Flick was elected President, JAH (Bill) Boyle Snr Vice President and Bernie Saunders elected Secretary. Prior to the establishing of a ``Green``, members bowled on the turf of Charles Riley Reserve and refreshed themselves at the Castle Hotel.

Due to the efforts of the Sub-Committee the members were allocated Lot 7 Swan Location 7063 in Kitchener Street North Beach to establish a Club House and Greens. To achive this a successful application was made to the Perth Road Board for a grant of twenty thousand pounds, on the proviso that the members raised five thousand pounds.

1960 - 1965

The Official opening was held on the 16th January 1960. Inter Club pennants commenced 1959/60 season, the Club entering two teams in Saturday Pennants. Due to a lack of facilities the 1960/61 and 1961/62 pennant home games were played at the Subiaco Bowling Club, members joining that club associates. The club's first achievement in Pennant competition was winning the Pennant of Division 4B in 1964/65.

The club has since that date been successful in attaining many more Division Pennants and 1st Division status both Midweek and Saturday competitions.

1966 - 2002

The RSL North Beach Sub-Branch has, for a number of years conducted their monthly meeting at the North Beach Bowling Club. Season 2001/2002 saw all financial members of the RSL Sub Branch accepted as Social Non-Bowling Members of the North Beach Bowling Club, using the club's premises as their headquarters and placing their identification logo on the club's premises.

2004-NOW

The amalgamation of RWABA and WALBA, which occurred during 2004/2005, provided a further reason for a long overdue re-write and modification of the Club's constitution and by-laws. This was eventually achived for the commencement of season 2006/2007 and brough about true unification of Men's and Ladies bowls for NBBC.
